AI Hack Inc. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Daisuke Nakamichi, hereinafter "AI Hack") is pleased to announce the launch of a proof-of-concept project in collaboration with Hakuhodo Inc. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Kenji Nagura, hereinafter "Hakuhodo") and Hakuhodo DY ONE Inc. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Yuzo Tanaka; President & CEO: Hiroto Kosaka, hereinafter "Hakuhodo DY ONE") to optimize brand information in AI-based search.

※This refers to techniques such as AIO (AI Optimization), AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), and LLMO (Large Language Model Optimization).

Background

The widespread adoption of generative AI in search engines is rapidly transforming how users gather and engage with information. As user behavior evolves, so does the nature of the content they encounter. However, challenges remain—AI systems can misinterpret company or brand information or generate responses that are inconsistent with a brand’s intended image. As a result, ensuring accurate and brand-aligned information in AI search has become an urgent priority for businesses.

In response to these challenges, AI Hack has partnered with Hakuhodo and Hakuhodo DY ONE to launch a joint proof-of-concept project aimed at shaping effective communication strategies for the AI era. This collaboration integrates AI Hack’s AIO analysis tool, “AI Hack,” Hakuhodo’s expertise in consumer insights and creativity, and Hakuhodo DY ONE’s deep knowledge of digital strategy. Together, the quality of AI-generated responses will be assessed—particularly in terms of accuracy and alignment with brand image—and actionable strategies will be proposed to enhance AI search results.

Overview of the Proof-of-Concept Project

Details of the proof-of-concept project

AI Hack will conduct the following proof-of-concept activities utilizing its AIO tool, “AI Hack”:

  1. Visualization of Brand Representation in AI Search

Analyze how AI search engines recognize and display brand-related information.

  2. Evaluation of AI-Generated Responses

Assess the accuracy of AI-generated content and how well it aligns with the intended brand image.

  3. Development and Validation of AI-Optimized Communication Strategies

Design and test information dissemination strategies tailored to the AI search.

  4. Research on AI Search Algorithms

Study the algorithms of AI search engines to deepen understanding for brand optimization.

Moving forward, the insights gained from this proof-of-concept will be used to co-develop practical solutions to help companies optimize their brand presence in AI search.
