AI Hack Inc. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Daisuke Nakamichi; hereinafter “AI Hack”) hereby announces that it has entered into a strategic partnership with CS-C Inc. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director & President: Takeshi Suginohara; hereinafter “CS-C”), the provider of the SaaS-based integrated marketing tool C-mo.

Under this partnership, the two companies will jointly develop and conduct research on new marketing solutions aimed at enhancing the visibility and selection of stores/services in the generative AI era, thereby supporting customer acquisition and revenue growth for local businesses*.

*Local businesses refer to community-based, brick-and-mortar businesses such as restaurants, beauty salons, clinics, and hotels.

Background

Amid the widespread adoption of generative AI, consumer search behavior for stores and services is undergoing a significant shift. Whereas traditional search behavior centered on comparing multiple websites and reviews via search engines, there is now a growing trend toward discovering stores and services through AI-generated responses and recommendations, which increasingly serve as the starting point for consumer decision-making.

As traditional SEO and MEO strategies alone become increasingly insufficient, what is now required of local businesses at this shift in the consumer decision-making funnel is not merely visibility in search results, but structured information design that enables generative AI to accurately evaluate their stores/services and recommend them within AI-generated responses (AIO: AI Optimization).

In response to these market changes, AI Hack, with strengths in generative AI research and development, and CS-C, with an established track record in marketing support for local businesses, have agreed to enter into a strategic business alliance.

Overview of Partnership

Under this partnership the two companies will integrate,

  • AI Hack’s analytical technologies and research achievements in the field of generative AI and AIO
  • CS-C’s approximately 15 years of accumulated expertise in digital marketing support specialized for local businesses, along with its established customer base

By leveraging these strengths, the companies aim to establish results-driven AIO strategies and advance their design, implementation, validation, and continuous improvement.

Scope of the Partnership

Through this partnership, the two companies will advance the following initiatives:

  1. Research and Service Development for AIO Strategies in the Local Business Sector

The companies will analyze how generative AI evaluates and references information when generating responses, and conduct research to develop services focused on AIO strategies optimized for local businesses.

  2. Promotion of Generative AI Utilization, Adoption, and Joint Proposals in the Local Business Sector

Through information dissemination and educational initiatives for business operators, as well as joint proposals related to the effective use of generative AI, the companies will promote greater understanding of generative AI and AIO, and expand the market for AI-driven customer acquisition and marketing.

  3. Further Enhancement of AIO Capabilities within C-mo

AIO functionalities within C-mo, CS-C’s customer acquisition support tool for local businesses, will be strengthened and updated by leveraging AI Hack’s expertise.

Looking ahead, building on AIO initiatives within C-mo, the companies will jointly develop a new marketing support model for the generative AI era. This model will enable local businesses, including restaurants, beauty salons, treatment clinics, accommodation facilities, and medical institutions within CS-C’s customer base and other community-based businesses, to have their stores and services accurately understood by generative AI and appropriately recommended in AI-driven consumer interactions.
